THOUSANDS TAKE ADVANTAGE OF FREE BARE TOOL PROMO

18V Multi-Tool is the overwhelming favorite for free bare tool...so far

Thousands have already taken advantage of the Makita Free Bare Tool Promotion. And to date the top choice for free bare tool is…the 18V LXT Multi-Tool.

Makita's Free 18V LXT Lithium-Ion Tool Promotion offers a choice of one free 18V LXT Lithium-Ion Bare Tool with qualifying purchase of a select 18V LXT Lithium-Ion Kit. The promotion is valid on purchases made from June 1, 2012 to August 31, 2012.

"We're hitting the half-way point in this exciting promotion, and the response has been strong," said Wayne Hart, communications manager, Makita USA. "Pro contractors, build-it-yourselfers, and tool users of all kinds are taking advantage of this opportunity to expand their tool boxes with tools from the industry's top 18 volt Lithium-Ion line-up."

Those who take advantage of Makita's Free 18V LXT Lithium-Ion Tool Promotion can select from six 18V LXT Bare Tools, including the hammer driver-drill, impact driver, 4-1/2" cut-off angle grinder, 6-1/2" circular saw, recipro saw, or multi-tool. The 18V LXT multi-tool, the latest addition to Makita's growing line-up of 18V Lithium-Ion cordless tools, has been the top choice so far in the promotion's free tool redemption.

"Trades of all kinds are turning to oscillating multi-tools for a full range of applications," said Hart. "As the market leader in 18 volt Lithium-Ion, it is only natural that Makita delivered a cordless oscillating multi-tool with the speed and performance of a corded multi-tool."
