MAKITA’S OFF-ROAD TEAMS PREPARE FOR A CHAMPIONSHIP WEEKEND

Brian Deegan, Rob MacCachren and Todd LeDuc All Have a Shot at the LOORRS Championship

Todd LeDuc is currently sitting second in overall points heading into the final race.

LA Mirada, CA – Round 15 of the Lucas Oil Off-Road Racing Series (LOORRS) heads to Firebird International Raceway in Phoenix, AZ this weekend, Saturday, October 27 for the final race of the season where the Premier class PRO 2 Unlimited and PRO 4 Unlimited championships will be decided.

Brian Deegan
Rockstar Makita Metal Mulisha’s Brian Deegan heads into the final round at Firebird Raceway in control of his own destiny.  Brian is the defending PRO 2 Unlimited Champion and is currently leading the PRO 2 Unlimited Championship by 13 points heading into the final round. When it comes time to race, the competition had better watch out because Deegan is hungry for another championship and will be coming out focused and ready to race with a “no holds barred” mentality. (See below for a pre-race interview with Deegan)

Rob MacCachren
Rockstar Makita’s Rob MacCachren is running third in points in the PRO 2 Unlimited class and will not make things easy for Brian Deegan this weekend.   Rob is coming off of a disappointing finish at the last round that knocked him out of the championship points lead but never one to give up, MacCachren intends to put the Rockstar Makita Tools team back on podium for the eighth time this season. “It all comes down to this,” said MacCachren, who many consider to be the most talented off-road racer on the planet with over 200 career victories to his credit.

Todd LeDuc
In PRO 4 Unlimited racing action, Todd LeDuc is currently sitting second in overall points heading into the final race and his trailing his brother and fellow Makita athlete Kyle LeDuc by a mere 16 points. Todd has managed to put his Rockstar Makita Ford truck up on the podium at nearly every race this season and is coming off of a victory at the last race. Todd will carry the momentum of the last race into Firebird and sparks will definitely be flying as Todd looks to overtake his younger brother one more time and bring home the 2012 PRO 4 Unlimited Championship and certainly some bragging rights.
