Spotted on a big screen in Times Square: Fernando Fiore on the jobsite with Makita!

Jobsite Visit in California Draws a Crowd
The photo on the big screen (also at below-right) was taken last month on a jobsite in Buena Park, just a few miles from the Makita USA Home Office in La Mirada in Orange County, CA. Fiore was instantly recognized on the jobsite and drew a crowd among the contractors. One enthuiastic fan-contractor even grabbed his phone and called his parents who lived nearby. They hustled down to Buena Park and onto the jobsite to meet the soccer media icon.
New Partnership, New Initiatives
Makita's recent announcement of the partnership with Fiore included plans for new initatives to engage contractors on the jobsite, in stores and with promotions built around Fiore’s personality and profile. This month Makita launched a contest targeting Hispanic contractors with a chance to attend an upcoming Mexican National Soccer Team match with Fernando Fiore, including round-trip air and accommodations (information: www.makitatools.com/FernandoFiore).
