DIDN'T MAKE IT TO VEGAS FOR WORLD OF CONCRETE 2012? WATCH THE VIDEO!
New Makita concrete solutions previewed at industry's biggest annual event
Makita joined over 50,000 concrete contractors and dealers in Las Vegas for the annual World of Concrete trade show in January, the industry's biggest annual event.
After threats of rain and high winds, the skies cleared and the show opened under brilliant Las Vegas sunshine. Attendance was strong as more concrete pro’s turned out compared to the 2011 event.
Makita was there with the Experience More rig and several tons of 4,000 PSI concrete. Attendees took the opportunity to try out Makita’s very latest solutions for the concrete trade, many of which were previewed at the show:
New 12 gallon Xtract Vac Vacuum – Includes an onboard tool-activated outlet and an automatic filter-cleaning system
New Dust Extraction Accessories – Including dust-collecting grinder shrouds
New 18V LXT Lithium-Ion Brushless Motor Rotary Hammer with HEPA Dust Collection – The latest addition to Makita’s 18V LXT line-up, with 50+ tools all powered by ONE 18V Lithium-Ion battery.
New 14” Power Cutter: Features faster starts, reduced flooding and more efficient fuel consumption
Stay tuned for more information on these new concrete solutions – coming soon!
Makita also demonstrated its full line of rotary, demolition and breaker hammers engineered with Anti-Vibration Technology. Other demonstrations included the 18V Brushless Motor Impact Driver (LXDT01), and the 7-1/4” Hypoid Circular Saw (5377MG).
