CARPENTER GIVES LXDT08 BRUSHLESS IMPACT DRIVER A PERFECT SCORE

ToolSelect.com review highlights power, performance, and run-time of Makita LXT Brushless technology

ToolSelect.com gave a Makita 18V LXT Lithium-Ion Brushless Impact Driver (LXDT08) to a commercial carpenter, and he gave it a perfect score.

Brian VanderBos is a carpenter for Rockford Construction in Western Michigan. Brian already uses a Makita brushed-motor impact driver, but tried out the new LXDT08 with the 18V LXT Brushless Motor.

Brian gave it a perfect 5-out-of-5 stars in all four categories (performance, design, quality, value). He liked the power and extended run time of the 18V LXT Brushless Motor, as well as convenient 1/4" hex chuck, the comfortable ergonomic grip, and the fast-charging 18V Lithium-Ion battery. He even remarked on the optional "ring tones" on the charger, and appreciated that this customizable feature is ideal for a crowded jobsite with more than a few chargers at work. See the entire video-review here, or below:

18V LXT Lithium-Ion Cordless Impact Driver (LXDT08)
The LXDT08 is engineered with an efficient BL™ Brushless Motor with variable speed that delivers 1,420 in.lbs. of Max Torque, 0-3,200 impacts per minute, and 0-2,500 RPM for a wide range of fastening applications. The LXDT08 has an excellent power-to-weight ratio with a compact design (5-7/8" long) and less weight (only 3.4 lbs., with battery).

Consistent with all Makita impact tools, the proprietary hammer and anvil impact mechanism in the LXDT08 is manufactured using the best raw materials with the highest quality steel and unique heat hardening process for maximum fastening and driving power.
