“Makita continues to be the market leader in Lithium-Ion powered cordless tools, and the new VJ01W is the latest compact cutting solution in our 12V max line-up,” said Mario Lopez, Makita Product Manager, Cordless Tools. “The new VJ01W delivers power and speed in a compact size, but users also get greater visibility and dust collection capabilities. Compact Size with Improved Dust Collection

The VJ01W has a through-the-body dust port for use with a vacuum to provide efficient dust management, and a built-in dust blower to clear the line-of-cut for improved visibility. It has a compact and well-balanced design (weighs only 3.7 lbs.) with a low profile engineered for improved handling in compact areas.
