Robbie Malinoski tightened his hold on the number four spot in the Pro Open Standings and remains just 18 points out of third place after finishing fifth in the class final on Sunday.
In Pro Stock Action, Malinoski made a last lap pass, racing his way to a fourth place finish. The result moved him within 4 points of the next rider in the standings and within reach of the number 3 spot with two events remaining.
Semi-pro rider, Darrin Mees, scored main event finishes of fifth and seventh place over the two days and is in a geated points battle with the top three riders.
Hayward, Wisconsin is in the heart of snowmobile country and for the third straight year hosted an overflow crowd of vacationing trail riders. The event features a large vendor's row, where team partner's, Makita and the US Air Force, were able to interact with fans.
