For World of Concrete attendees, the Makita booth experience is all about trying out the tools and feeling the difference for themselves.
Over 50,000 concrete contractors and dealers are headed to Las Vegas for the annual World of Concrete trade show, and Makita is ready.
The concrete industry's biggest annual event is hitting the Las Vegas Convention Center next week, January 18-21, and Makita will be there highlighting its growing line-up of best-in-class concrete solutions.
"Makita offers a full range of solutions to the concrete pro, including rotary and demolition hammers, grinding and surfacing solutions, concrete power cutters, accessories, diamond blades, and more," said Wayne Hart, Communications Manager, Makita USA. "Makita power tools deliver industrial strength performance with less vibration in a more compact size, and are engineered to beat up the concrete, not the end user. World of Concrete is a great opportunity to present our latest best-in-class tools and let contractors feel the difference for themselves."
Makita's presence at World of Concrete is highlighted by Experience More, a 53-foot interactive tool display on wheels. Makita is also loading-up its outdoor exhibit area with several slabs of 4,000 PSI concrete, so concrete pro's can try out Makita's latest Makita solutions.
Makita will present current and new releases, including new 35 lb. (HM1307CB), 20 lb. (HM1203C) and 11 lb. (HM0870C) Demolition Hammers, and new dust extraction accessories for grinders and rotary hammers. Makita will also highlight grinders engineered with Super Joint System (SJS) Technology, and 18V LXT and 18V Compact Lithium-Ion Cordless tools. Makita delivered the industry's first 18V LIthium-Ion line-up in 2005, and today offers over 35 cordless solutions powered by one battery.
Makita will also feature the growing line-up of rotary and demo hammers equipped with Anti-Vibration Technology (AVT). AVT is an internal counterbalance system that greatly reduces vibration and directs more impact energy to the work surface for increased user comfort and greater productivity.
In addition to displays and demonstrations of its latest concrete solutions, Makita will have a few additional features at the booth, including the Rockstar Makita LeDuc Race Team and their 900 HP Truck. Curt, Kyle, and Todd LeDuc are the best family race team in the off-road business, and they use Makita tools to keep their trucks on-track in high-energy racing throughout the year.
Makita is exhibiting in the Silver Lot, booth O31846. To register for World of Concrete, go to www.worldofconcrete.com, and enter the Source Code BUY when registering online for $10 Exhibits-Only Admission.
