ROCKSTAR MAKITA SUZUKI HONOR THE MILITARY AND PLAY HOST FOR WOUNDED WARRIOR PROJECT AT MILLER MOTORSPORTS PARK ON MEMORIAL DAY

Tommy Hayden poses with the US Marine Corps

The Rockstar Makita Suzuki team honored the military and showed their support by hosting US Army veteran, Tad Stuart, and his family at Memorial Day’s AMA and World Superbike event at Miller Motorsports Park in Tooele, UT. Stuart is an active member of the Wounded Warrior Project.

Over 44,000 servicemen and women have been physically wounded during the current military conflicts in Iraq and Afghanistan. Hundreds of thousands more are estimated to be recovering from invisible wounds of war, including post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), major depression, and traumatic brain injury (TBI).

The Wounded Warrior Project (WWP) is a nonprofit organization whose mission is to honor and empower wounded warriors and make this the most successful, well-adjusted generation of veterans in our nation’s history.

Thousands of wounded warriors and caregivers receive support each year through WWP programs that are uniquely structured to nurture the mind and body, and encourage economic empowerment and engagement. To get involved or learn more about WWP, visit woundedwarriorproject.org.

The Rockstar Makita Suzuki team also offered their hospitality to a host of US Air Force and US Marine Corp troops who were also present at the event by providing them with access to the team’s hospitality area with food, drinks and “meet and greets” with the riders and team staff.

The Rockstar Makita Suzuki riders, Tommy Hayden and Blake Young, pose with the US Air Force.
