Watch Exclusive Ryan Dungey Commercial on Kicker's Big Air Bash

Makita recently partnered with Kicker Audio from The Palms Casino in Las Vegas for Kicker Audio’s Ninth Annual Big Air Bash. Makita joined Oakley, Toyota, Rockstar Energy Drink, Team Associated, General Tire, Air Lift, and Bullet Liner to co-sponsor a crowd of custom car enthusiasts, and freestyle motocross fanatics. A recap of the Big Air Bash will air as a TV show, February 23rd, on Versus at 6 p.m. EST, 3 p.m. PST. During the broadcast, Makita's 30 second commercial featuring Rockstar Makita Suzuki's Ryan Dungey will air to promote Makita's recent promotion titled, "Champions Choose Makita."
Makita had the opportunity to work with Ryan Dungey on Ricky Carmichael's practice track in Tallahassee, Florida on a two day shoot in December for the Champions Choose Makita concept. The purpose of the commercial was to arrange a commercial for Supercross events, Makita Nation, RyanDungey.com, and other various video outlets across the Web. Kicker generously offered a time slot during their show and Makita gratefully accepted.
Makita prepared two script formats for Dungey. One format captured a serious, dramatic take on the graceful riding style of the 2010 Supercross and Motocross Champion. The other format pushed a comedic approach and asked Ryan to walk on the track without any tools, or the bike.
