Rockstar Makita Suzuki rider David Vuillemin stayed on pace and posted another top ten finish at the Monster Energy® AMA Supercross race at the Georgia Dome in front of 67,429 fans. Vuillemin\'s 9th place was his third top ten finish in as many weeks, and is in 9th in the overall standings.
In the Lites class, Rockstar Makita Suzuki\'s Nico Izzi took 8th in his first race of the season (it was the opener for the Eastern Regional - Ryan Dungey and the rest of the Western Regional riders did not race).
Points leader Chad Reed won the holeshot, but fell on lap six and settled for sixth place. Red Bull Honda’s Davi Millsaps, of Cairo, Ga., won the final in front of his home state. In the Lites class, Torco Fuels Honda’s Trey Canard, of Elk City, Okla., led all 15 laps of the main event en route to the victory.
The February 23 AMA Supercross Lites class race will air on SPEED Saturday, March 1 at 6 p.m. (Eastern).
