This past weekend at CORR in Pomona, CA. was an extremely successful one for Rockstar Makita LeDuc finishing in the top 3 four times. Saturday in the Pro 2 class Todd LeDuc finished in second place fighting to move up in the overall CORR standings where he was in third before Saturday. In the Pro 4 class Kyle LeDuc took first place while his dad Curt finished third putting the father and son on the podium together for the first time ever. When asked about being on the podium with his son, Curt said, “Dreams do come true”. Brian Deegan finished in tenth place in the Pro Lite class and Jimmy Weitzel of DragonFire Makita Polaris finished a strong eighth in the UTV class.

Sunday’s results had potential to match Saturdays but unfortunately it didn’t completely turn out that way. It started off just like Saturday with Todd LeDuc taking second place in the Pro 2 class. Then in the Pro 4 class with 3 laps to go Kyle had a strong first place lead until something went wrong with his engine forcing him to finish the race in ninth place. Curt, who was battling for third, got black flagged for hitting Carl Renezeder of Lucas Oil on the last turn forcing him to go to the back of the pack, Curt ended up finishing eighth. Brian Deegan finished in seventh place in the Pro Lite class and Jimmy Weitzel fished in twelfth in the UTV class.

Rockstar Makita LeDuc and DragonFire Makita Polaris will be back in action on September 13-14 in Chula Vista, CA. This race is scheduled to be broadcasted LIVE on the SPEED channel.
