ROCKSTAR MAKITA LEDUC COMPETES IN WSORR AND 14TH ANNUAL BORGWARNER SHOOTOUT THIS PAST WEEKEND IN CRANDON, WI.
Curt cracks tibia and gets stitches in left leg finishes ninth, Kyle gets mild concussion and still finishes fourth
The World Series of Off-Road Racing (WSORR) capped its 2008 season this past weekend in Crandon, WI. Curt and Kyle LeDuc hadn’t raced in the series this year but decided to race in the final two rounds. Kyle stood on the podium for the first time in his WSORR career finishing 3rd and his dad Curt finished right behind him in fourth. The next day was the final round of the series and Curt ended up beating out fellow CORR Pro 4 racer Johnny Greaves for a 3rd place spot on the podium while Kyle did not finish because of technical difficulties.
Curt and Kyle also competed in the 14th Annual BorgWarner Shootout and unfortunately Curt LeDuc took ninth because of a major collision with Johnny Greaves. Greaves was knocked into a spiral by Scott Douglas, the current leader of the CORR series, and Greaves flew into Curt LeDuc smashing into Curt’s door so hard that it cracked Curt’s Tibia and cut his left leg. Curt continued to race and actually bumped his son Kyle on the last turn and gave him a mild concussion from the whiplash. Kyle putted across the finish line finishing fourth overall and first of out of the pro-4 trucks. After crossing the finish line Curt headed straight for the hospital and got 20 stitches in his leg. Curt and Kyle both plan on competing on September 13th and 14th at CORR Chula Vista 2.
