MAY 6, 2008 – La Mirada, CA – Makita U.S.A., Inc., manufacturer of high quality industrial power tools and accessories, is proud to announce the release of two new 14” and 16” electric chain saws, models UC3530A (14”) and UC4030A (16”). Both saws deliver plenty of power, with easy operation and maintenance.
The UC3530A (14”) and UC4030A (16”) are both powered by a 15-AMP Makita-built motor for high performance, and a built-in current limiter to help protect the motor from burn-out by reducing power to the motor when the saw is over-loaded. The large metal spike creates stable pivot on wood for steady cutting, while the electric brake helps deliver maximum productivity.
Makita also engineered comfort and ease-of-use features into the new chain saws. The one-touch “tool-less” blade and chain adjustment/replacement requires a simple turn of a lever for easy operation and maintenance. The large oil reservoir with view window allows operator to check the bar oil level, and the automatic chain oiler is designed for heavy continuous cutting. The rubberized grip handles are designed for comfortable operation, while the large trigger switch with soft start is designed for smooth start-ups.
The UC3530A (14”) and UC4030A (16”) are both double insulated, and are ideal for a range of outdoor cutting and trimming applications. Both models include a chain, guide bar and chain cover.
