On Friday November 21st at 10:30 a.m. Mark Post and Rob MacCachren will cross the starting line of the 41st Annual Tecate SCORE Baja 1000 in Ensenada, Mexico. The Baja 1000 is the oldest and most prestigious desert race in the world; over 250,000 people are anticipated to attend. Post and MacCachren are looking for back-to-back SCORE championships as they are in third place in the standings, only 18 points behind the leader BJ Baldwin. Last year’s champs are 1 of 34 SCORE trophy trucks competing in a field of 359 racers in this year’s Baja 1000. The race is approximately a 631.35 mile (6 checkpoints plus the finish line) loop starting and finishing in Ensenada, Mexico. You can follow Rockstar Makita Riviera live as they battle for the championship on www.2008SCOREBaja1000.com. Created for this year’s SCORE Baja 1000, the new online experience includes GPS tracking for all drivers in the SCORE Trophy-Truck class plus live and streaming video.
