Makita’s 16-inch Power Cutter (DPC8112) earned the 2007 Innovative Product Award from Rental Equipment Register Magazine. Makita took the award in the Cutting/Drilling category.
Makita’s power cutter was recognized for the tool’s lighter weight, speed, and ease of maintenance.
The DPC8112 Power Cutter has an advanced air filtration design, with five different stages of air filtration and cleaning prior to entering the engine for increased performance. In addition, the DPC8112 weighs just under 24 pounds, and has an electronic ignition that allows for more consistent engine speeds. The five-stage air filter system is easily accessed for cleaning or servicing, and no tools are needed to perform this task.
Rental Equipment Register Magazine, a monthly publication serving the rental profession, announced the awards in its December 2007 issue.
