TEAM ROCKSTAR SUZUKI OFF ROAD GOES 1-2 AT THE GNCC

Team Rockstar Suzuki Off Road’s Josh Strang took the third round of the 2009 Grand National Cross Country Series, the FMF Steele Creek GNCC, and put himself into the hunt for the GNCC Championship.

After a three-hour battle of wheel-to-wheel racing, FMF Suzuki\'s Josh Strang sailed into the finish line to garner his first win of the 2009 season. His teammate Charlie Mullins took second to follow up his victory at the season opener.

Mullins nabbed the Holeshot Award off the start and led early. The race was tight until the final lap of the race, as Strang battled it out with Mullins on a track that ran through the steep hills, bridges and mud of North Carolina. Strang was able to pick up the pace and finished nearly a minute ahead of teammate Mullins.

With Mullins winning the opener and Strang winning round three, Team Makita Suzuki Off Road has won “2 outta 3” of the GNCC’s run so far this season. Mullins and Strang sit second and third in the points chase with one win each.
