ROCKSTAR MAKITA SUZUKI'S GUST PODIUMS AT UNADILLA & WIMMER BRINGS HOME SIXTH

Rockstar Makita Suzuki Racing‘s Doug Gust captured his second AMA ATV Motocross podium of the season at the Unadilla Valley Sports Center in New Berlin, New York, over the weekend, thanks to a second-place finish overall. Gust piloted his Rockstar Makita Suzuki QuadRacer R450 to two third-place moto finishes, which culminated in the second-place overall result. Rockstar Makita Suzuki teammate Dustin Wimmer returned to racing from injury in the last round and continues to improve. In the first moto, though, Wimmer got tangled in a turn-one pile-up and started from last place. Even so, he charged hard on his Rockstar Makita Suzuki QuadRacer R450 and worked his way up to 10th place. In the second moto, Wimmer rallied and picked up an impressive fourth-place finish. All in all, Wimmer finished the day in sixth place overall. In the overall AMA ATV Motocross championship points standings, Wimmer is in third place and Gust is in sixth.
