SPEED TO AIR THE MONSTER ENERGY® SUPERCROSS OPENER FROM ANAHEIM! ROCKSTAR MAKITA SUZUKI'S RYAN DUNGEY TO RACE IN 450 CLASS!

Feld Motor Sports℠ has recently announced that Supercross, one of Makita’s most popular properties, will be airing live on SPEED.

On Saturday, Jan. 9, SPEED will present six-and-half hours of live programming, starting with Advance Auto Parts Monster Jam^® live (7 p.m. ET/4 p.m. PT) from Atlanta’s Georgia Dome, followed by the season-opening Monster Energy^® AMA Supercross, an FIM World Championship, race from Angel Stadium in Anaheim, Calif. beginning at 10 pm. ET/7 p.m. PT.

Immediately following Advance Auto Parts Monster Jam, SPEED will take fans out to the West Coast where the 2010 Monster Energy^® Supercross season will kick off with its traditional opener from Anaheim – considered the crown jewel of the championship. This year’s championship is considered one of the most anticipated title chases ever as Rockstar Makita Suzuki’s Ryan Dungey, champion of both Motocross and Supercross Lites seasons last year, will take on defending champion James Stewart and hold off challenges from Chad Reed in the 450 class!
