Amsoil Airforce Makita to Compete in Winter X Games This Weekend

DJ Eckstrom and Shaun Crapo of Amsoil Airforce Makita will be fighting for a spot on the podium at the Winter X Games 13 this weekend in Aspen Colorado. Last year at the winter X games, DJ stepped up onto the podium with a bronze medal finish. Unfortunately Shaun Crapo finished in 9^th place due to mechanical problems. This year they’re both counting on going home with a medal around their neck.

Currently the two riders are in the heat of the ISOC SnoCross Series with 3 events down and 5 to go. DJ is in 3^rd place in the Pro Stock standings and 9^th in the Pro Open standings. In the Pro Stock Shaun is in 6^th place and is 10^th in the Pro Open. The X games are a separate event and will not count in the point standings for the ISOC series.

The Winter X Games 13 will be televised on ESPN starting tonight and ending on Sunday. Watch our team compete in the first round of SnoCross tomorrow night LIVE on ESPN at 9:30 – 11:30PM ET (6:30 – 8:30PM PT) and then hopefully in the finals on Saturday night LIVE on ESPN at 9:00 – 11:00PM ET (6:00 – 8:00PM PT).
