May 18, 2021, La Mirada, CA – Makita U.S.A., Inc., the leader in cordless power tool innovation, has launched a new premium driver-drill, the 18V LXT^® Brushless ½” Driver Drill (XFD14). The driver-drill delivers improved drilling and driving for a range of high-demand applications.

The 18V LXT Brushless ½” Driver-Drill is an ideal premium drilling and driving solution. It delivers 1,250 in.lbs. of Max Torque to handle high-demand applications. The XFD14 has a 2-speed transmission (0-550 and 0-2,100 RPM) for a wide range of drilling and fastening applications. The all-metal ½” self-ratcheting chuck provides improved bit gripping strength and durability. It weighs 5.7 lbs. with battery yet is more compact and ergonomic than previous models. This makes the driver-drill ideal for working in-between studs with up to a 6” accessory. An L.E.D. light illuminates the work area.
