The 18V LXT Grass Shear (XML05Z) features a dual-action blade and faster blade speed at 2,500 SPM.
August 17, 2021, La Mirada, CA – Makita U.S.A., Inc., manufacturer of high-quality professional outdoor power equipment, tools, and accessories, has launched the 18V LXT® Cordless Grass Shear (XMU05Z, tool only). It is a compact and cordless solution for grass trimming and cutting.
The XMU05Z has dual blade action and a 4-5/16” cutting width. It delivers faster blade speed at 2,500 strokes per minute/SPM. Users can get up to 2 hours of run time with a fully charged 18V LXT 5.0Ah Battery (sold separately).
Additional features include a rubberized soft grip handle, tool-less blade changing, and non-electrolyzed nickel-plated blades to resist staining and rusting.
