MAKITA U.S.A. SIGNS ON AS PREMIER SPONSOR OF HOVERALLY 2026

The event takes place on the water in Terre Haute, IN, and celebrates the 50th anniversary of The Hoverclub of America

June 16, 2026 – La Mirada, CA – Makita, a leading global manufacturer of innovative power tools, outdoor power equipment and accessories, is proud to announce its premier sponsorship of the 50^th Anniversary Hoverally 2026, a four-day celebration of hovercraft cruising, competitions and engineering. The event takes place August 6-9 at Fairbanks Park in Terre Haute, Indiana.

The Hoverally 2026 event will mark the 50^th anniversary of the Hoverclub of America, and will take place at the scenic Wabash River in Terre Haute. Attendees will enjoy cruising and open operations on the scenic Wabash River, along with fun-filled activities like a Scavenger Hunt or Point-to-Point Challenge. The highlight of the weekend will be on Saturday with a 16-mile cruise upriver to Clinton, IN and capped off with a relaxing box lunch at the destination.
