MAKITA RELEASES XGT® 4-SPEED STICK VACUUM WITH CYCLONIC POWER BRUSH HEAD

Compact and powerful vacuum features strong suction for efficient cleaning in commercial or residential applications

July 7, 2026, La Mirada, CA – Makita U.S.A., Inc., manufacturer of high-quality professional tools, power equipment, and accessories, has released the 40V max XGT® Cyclonic Power Brush Head 4-Speed Compact Stick Vacuum (GLC04), featuring high suction power and a compact design for ease of use.

Superior Pick Up Power

The GLC04 features up to 2.75 times more pickup power on carpet than the previous model (Makita model GLC03, sold separately). The Power Brush Head lifts and separates dust and debris for enhanced removal performance and maneuverability while cleaning carpets.

Suction Power and Water Lift

Power Brush Head provides superior carpet cleaning capabilities combined with 110W of suction power (35 CFM, 80" water lift) 4-speed push button with cyclonic bagless canister compact vacuum.

Bagless Debris Canister with Large Capacity

The Cyclonic Power Brush Head Stick Vacuum features a large capacity bagless canister for quick debris disposal. It features an efficient two-stage HEPA filter that captures 99.97% of particulates .3 microns and larger.

Power and Run Time

The Vacuum features 4-Modes of electronic suction control with Mode Memory, which allows the user to turn the vacuum off when not in use but start back up again at the same suction level, for added user convenience. The vacuum delivers up to 96 minutes of run time with a fully charged 40V max XGT® 4.0Ah battery (battery sold separately).

Lower Sound Levels and Tool-Less Brush Removal

The GLC04 features a rotary brush that can be removed and attached without tools for easy cleaning and maintenance. It features quiet operating sound levels of up to 66 dB(A) on the high setting and 58 dB(A) on the low setting. Smart Brush Roller Control engages the brush roller only on floor contact, preventing free spinning to extend run time and reduce wear.

Convenience Features

Convenience features include a rubberized soft grip that provides increased comfort, an L.E.D. light for improved visibility and also serves as a low battery charge indicator, and a compact and ergonomic design for enhanced operator comfort.
