MAKITA RELEASES NEW AVT® RECIPRO PALLET SAW

Cutting tool with 15-AMP power designed specifically for the pallet refurbishment industry

July 7, 2026, La Mirada, CA – Makita U.S.A., Inc., manufacturer of high-quality professional tools, power equipment, and accessories, has released the new AVT® Recipro Pallet Saw (JR3070CTHZ) with 15 AMP power and a Lock Off Switch for added user convenience.

“The new Recipro Pallet Saw features 15-AMP power and is equipped with AVT® for two-times less vibration and increased productivity,” said Wayne Hart, senior communications manager, Makita U.S.A., Inc. “The new Recipro Pallet Saw was designed specifically with the pallet refurbishment industry in mind and features a lock-off switch for added convenience.”

High Torque to Dismantle Pallets Faster

The Recipro Pallet Saw features a high-torque limiter engineered to increase tool life and is intended for high-torque applications such as dismantling pallets. It features a powerful 15-AMP motor with electronic speed control that can maintain constant speed under load.

Variable Speed Control for Added Convenience

The JR3070CTHZ features a built-in clutch that reduces gear damage by disengaging the gears if the blade binds during use. It features a long 1-1/4" stroke for faster cutting. The Recipro Pallet Saw also features a variable speed control dial that enables users to match the speed of the tool to the application.

Anti-Vibration Technology (AVT®)

The Recipro Saw is equipped with Anti-Vibration Technology (AVT®), an internal counterbalance system that greatly reduces vibration and directs more impact energy to the work surface for increased user comfort and greater productivity.

Convenience Features

Convenience features include an ergonomically designed rubberized grip for increased user comfort, a large two-finger trigger with lock-off button for controlled activation, and a tool-less system for changing blades and for shoe adjustments.
