MAKITA RELEASES THREE NEW ANGLE IMPACT WRENCHES FOR THE LXT® SYSTEM

Compact impact wrenches deliver category-leading torque for demanding applications.

May 5, 2026, La Mirada, CA – Makita U.S.A., Inc., manufacturer of high-quality professional tools, power equipment, and accessories, has released three new compact angle impact wrenches that deliver up to 390 ft. lbs. of nut-busting torque and 250 ft. lbs. of fastening torque, the highest in the 18V and 12V categories

Power and Precision

The three new Compact Angle Impact Wrenches deliver up to 390 ft. lbs. of nut-busting torque

and 250 ft. lbs. of fastening torque. They all feature variable 3-speed (0-1,000 / 0-1,500 / 0-3,200 RPM & 0-1,800 / 0-2,800 / 0-4,000 IPM) for a wide range of fastening applications. For increased efficiency, the three new Angle Impact Wrenches feature Forward and Reverse Auto-Stop modes. This precision setting is engineered to prevent over tightening of fasteners.

Applications

The XLT03, XLT04, and XLT05 are for use in a range of industries, including HVAC installation, automotive maintenance and repair, railway maintenance, heavy equipment repair, steel framing, manufacturing, and so much more.

Additional Features

Additional features include a compact design, twin L.E.D. lights with afterglow that illuminate the work area, and a rubberized soft grip handle that provides increased comfort on the job. The Square Drive Angle Impact Wrenches weigh only 4.0 lbs. with battery (battery not included) for reduced operator fatigue. Also available is a Head Protector (422C91-3, sold separately), which encases the tool head to help protect against damage to the tool and workpiece, and helps protect the operating head from grease, oil, and contaminants.
