October 20, 2020, La Mirada, CA – Makita U.S.A., Inc., the innovation leader in cordless power tool technology and cordless outdoor power equipment, is pleased to announce the new 18V LXT^® Cordless Blower (XBU05) and Floor Blower (XBU06). These new battery-powered blowers provide instant start-ups for quick clean-up applications, with less weight for increased mobility.

The XBU05 packs power in a compact size. At about 4 lbs. and 20-3/8” long, the blower reaches a maximum air velocity of 219 MPH. A user controls the power and manages run time with the variable speed trigger. This blower is an ideal addition to any workspace and is available as a kit (XBU05ST1) or tool only (XBU05Z).

The XBU06 features an extended pipe to direct air closer to the ground. A compact design and rubberized soft grip handle offer increased user comfort. It has a Makita-built motor that delivers speeds up to 113 CFM and 152 MPH.

Makita^® LXT Cordless Blowers eliminate the hassles of gas with lower noise, reduced maintenance and zero emissions. The blowers operate at a lower noise level, providing user comfort and preventing a disruption for neighbors or nearby businesses. With no need for gas or oil, the blowers require reduced maintenance and have zero emissions allowing indoor clean-ups.
