SCHEURING SPEEDSPORTS ROOKIE FINISHES IN TOP 10 AT SNOCROSS IN MICHIGAN

Makita-backed Scheuring Speedsports also visits students at local technical school

A Top Ten finish and two scholarships handed out to local students. Not a bad weekend for Scheuring Speed Sports at the Soaring Eagle National at Mt. Pleasant, Michigan.

Rookie Lincoln Lemieux was racing for only his second time in the ultra-competitive AMSOIL Pro Open division, as he was asked to fill-in for injured team riders Robbie Malinoski and Tim Tremblay. But Lemieux was clearly prepared as he posted a top ten finish over two days of racing in Michigan.

Scheuring Speed Sports took some time off the track and joined the U.S. Air Force in a visit to the Mt. Pleasant Technical Center, a magnet school for the region specializing in all areas of hands-on technical education. While at the school, the team presented two "Race To The Future" scholarships, one to a student from Mt. Pleasant and one to a student from an outlying school.

This week the team will focus on prepping their sleds with their Makita Tools and training for rounds 13 and 14 at the Buffalo River Race Park just outside Fargo, ND, March 7-8.
