It’s the latest addition to Makita’s expanding 18V LXT® Series, the world’s largest 18V lithium-ion cordless tool line-up* with 80+ tools powered by the fast-charging 18V LXT® battery.

Long Lasting Powerful Suction
The DCL500Z has a powerful motor that generates 46 CFM of suction and a full 26.5” of water lift, yet it operates at only 64 dB(A) and will deliver up to 30 minutes of continuous run time from a single charge (3.0 Ah battery sold separately). The efficient cyclonic system separates large and fine dust particles so that only fine dust particles are captured on the filter for reduced clogging.

More Features for Added Convenience
It has a number of convenience features that make this vacuum easy to use. It weighs only 9.4 lbs. with battery (sold separately) and is only 13-7/8” long, with a shoulder strap and unique wheel design for maximum maneuverability. The push button has two air volume settings (high, low), and the L.E.D. warning lights indicate when it’s time to clean the filter or re-charge the battery. Filter cleaning is a snap with an external lever that removes dust from the filter, without the need to open the tool and remove the piece. In addition, the dust collection container is easily removed for convenient disposal and further cleaning of the reusable dust filter.

The DCL500Z is sold as a tool only (battery and charger sold separately), but includes a telescoping extension wand with 38”-40” of reach, as well as a floor nozzle, crevice tool, shoulder strap, hose, and cleaning brush.
