MAKITA METAL CUTTING DIAMOND BLADE ENGINEERED TO LAST UP TO 100X LONGER

Makita® has released a new 14” Metal Cutting Diamond Blade (model D-42597) that is engineered to last up to 100 times longer than standard abrasive metal cutting blades. It is ideal for use with a chop saw when cutting a range of materials including metal pipe, studs, angle iron, rebar, and threaded rod.

Less Downtime

Longer Blade Life
The D-42597 has a vacuum-brazed diamond cutting edge that lasts up to 100 times longer than standard abrasive blades. The blade’s steel core is engineered for consistent cutting capacity throughout the life of the blade. The segmented rim reduces heat build-up and maximizes material removal. It is ideal for use with 14” cut-off saws, including the Makita 2414DB and 2414NB, for a range of metal cutting applications.

Expanding Blade Line-Up
The new 14” Metal Cutting Blade is part of Makita’s expanding line-up of Optimum Diamond Blades engineered for fast, smooth cutting and long life. Each Makita Diamond Blade features the highest-quality synthetic diamonds for improved performance.
