MAKITA ANNOUNCES FOUR NEW 4-GALLON 18V X2 LXT CORDLESS DUST EXTRACTORS/VACUUMS

The new 18V X2 LXT^® Lithium-Ion (36V) Cordless 4 Gallon Dust Extractors and Vacuums (XCV13Z, XCV14Z, XCV15ZX, and XCV16ZX) offer versatility and convenience on the jobsite.

All four dust extractors feature a variable speed control dial to match the speed to the application, large rubber bumpers to prevent damage to the work environment, an oversized on-off switch for convenience and quick-release metal latches for easy removal and disposal of debris from the canister. Rear casters have locking levers to prevent the vacuum from moving. Dual L.E.D. battery indicators show the charge level for each 18V LXT lithium-ion battery.

Each model has a unique combination of features so users can find a solution that works best:

• XCV13Z - The 18V X2 LXT (36V) Cordless/Corded 4 Gallon HEPA Filter Dry Dust Extractor/Vacuum (tool only) is a hybrid model, offering both cordless and corded power options for versatility and convenience. Corded power delvers 127 CRM and 96” water lift, while two 18V LXT Lithium-Ion Batteries provide 74 CFM and 36” water lift. Two anti-static hoses and two tubes are included for extended reach.

• XCV14Z - The 18V X2 LXT (36V) Brushless Cordless 4 Gallon HEPA Filter Wet/Dry Vacuum (tool only) can capture wet and dry debris. Small dust particulates are captured in an efficient cloth filter. Powered by two 18V LXT® batteries for 36V power and run-time, the XCV14Z delivers up to 75 minutes of continuous run time on low setting and 40 minutes on high setting. The powerful Makita-built BL™ Brushless Motor delivers 74 CFM and 39” water lift of suction on battery operation.

• XCV15ZX - The 18V X2 LXT (36V) Brushless Cordless 4 Gallon HEPA Filter Dry Dust Extractor (tool only) has a 3-stage filtration system engineered for efficient cleaning and to extend the life of the main filter. The system consists of a Pre-Filter Bag (captures larger dust particulates), Damper Filter (captures much smaller particulates) and Main Filter (captures micro particles). Using two 18V 5.0Ah batteries, the dry dust extractor delivers up to 75 minutes of continuous run time on low setting and 40 minutes on high setting. The powerful Makita-built motor delivers 74 CFM and 39” water lift of suction on battery operation.

• XCV16ZX - The 18V X2 LXT (36V) Brushless Cordless 4 Gallon HEPA Filter Dry Dust Extractor, AWS™ (tool only) also features a 3-stage filtration system engineered for efficient cleaning and to extend the life of the main filter. This dry dust extractor features Auto-Start Wireless System (AWS™), which utilizes Bluetooth™ technology for wireless power-on/off communication between the tool and dust extractor.
