WORKSHOP ADDICT GIVES HIGH MARKS TO 18V X2 (36V) LXT BRUSHLESS CHAIN SAW
Review calls out "excellent torque", full feature set, broad battery compatibility, and more
Workshop Addict recently ran the 18V X2 (36V) LXT® Brushless Chain Saw, and they clearly liked the power and performance as well as the “excellent torque” of the outer rotor brushless motor. They also remarked on the full feature set that they said would be familiar to any user of a gas chain saw, like the metal bucking spikes that are not commonly found on cordless chain saws. For efficiency, they appreciated the Rapid Optimum Dual Port Charger and the broad compatibility of the 18V LXT® system, which saves users from investing in a separate battery platform. Another plus was the XCU03PTX1 kit, which includes a free 18V LXT® Brushless Grinder. In the end, they said that the XCU03 would be the chain saw they'd choose "over any other 20V or 60V saw!".
The XCU03PTX1 kit includes the 18V X2 (36V) LXT® Brushless Chain Saw, two 18V LXT® 5.0Ah batteries, 18V Dual Port Charger, and a free 18V LXT® Brushless Angle Grinder.
The XCU03 was put to work on some bug-infested trees, where the user remarked on the "excellent torque."
The reviewer appreciated the XCU03's quick assembly and easy maintenance features.
