ImpactX gives contractors a deep line-up of impact-rated fastening accessories
La Mirada, CA – Makita® has created a new line of insert bits and fastening accessories engineered for use with high-torque impact drivers – and in this new video, contractors sound-off on what they think of ImpactX™.
The new Impact X™ is not a torsion bit, but it’s built with high-quality S2 modified steel that flexes slightly under load to take pressure off the bit tip -- similar to a premium torsion bit like Impact GOLD®. Impact X™ is built for contractors, and fills the gap between higher-priced premium torsion bits and standard bits.
The new ImpactX™ line of insert bits and fastening accessories launched with 80 unique items and 180 total configurations.
ImpactX™ is available in 35-, 40- and 50-piece Driver Bit Sets. The hard case includes a Retention Loop and the Makita Xpand Storage System (center) to hold up to 40 extra 1” insert bits.
