The 40V max XGT® Shear Wrench (GTW01) is a cordless fastening solution engineered for up to 14% faster fastening than corded, with 593 ft.lbs. of maximum fastening torque. It’s powered by one 40V Max XGT® battery and an efficient brushless motor for maximum power, speed, and run-time without the cord.
The Shear Wrench delivers up to 250 M22 tightened torque control bolts per charge using one fully charged XGT® 4.0Ah Battery (battery and charger included in the kit). The improved design of the new GTW01 weighs up to 3.5 lbs. less than the previous LXT® model.
The GTW01 features an electric brake which allows the tool to be repositioned faster for increased productivity. It features a bolt tip ejecting lever located by the power switch for easy tip disposal. The Shear Wrench also features a metal gear housing for increased durability.
Convenience features include an L.E.D. battery charge indicator that alerts users of drained battery power, a shoulder strap hook for maximum portability, and a power switch with a trigger-lock button that helps prevent accidental start-ups. The GTW01 features an ergonomic "D-shaped" handle with a trigger power switch for increased comfort. The weight of the Shear Wrench is only 12.1 lbs. with a battery for reduced operator fatigue.
